[mythtv] Change channel without select bug

I eagerly tried out the new "Change to channel without the select 
button" option, but it isn't working for me. Each successive number 
press clears out the previous number. ie, in trying to change to 620, 
I'll press 6, then 2, and the display will read only 2. Stopping there 
will change to channel 2.

I don't know why this is happening and am sorry I have no other info, 
but I'll be more then happy to test anything you need.
