[mythtv] mythfilldatabase problems

I've been screwing with this thing all day. I tried going back as far as 
0.5.14 and same problem. XMLTV guys seem to suspect a bug in perl 5.8.0 but 
that doesn't make sense since mine worked up until just over a week ago.
