I've compiled it just now with a dist-upgrade this morning.

I'm using Matt's debian dir, whith these Build-Depends and my local
versions:
libqt3-mt-dev 3.2.1-4
libmysqlclient-dev 4.0.14-1
libfreetype6-dev 2.1.4-5
libvorbis-dev 1.0.0-3
liblame-dev 3.93.1-0.1
debhelper 4.1.72

Grab Matt's debian packages, get debian dir's from his diff's and
dpkg-buildpackage from it.
Matt's diff's also includes little sql changes (create unless exists)
and Makefile changes (cpu target and qt's mkspecs) which you can ignore
