[mythtv] How to edit the gui? (And some profile related stuff)

I see. That distinction is needed. I guess I'm thinking that
each card could be assigned to a group without considering 
the hostname.

So are you saying that if there are a fixed number of profile
names the offset can be calculate? I was originally thinking
that a translation table would be needed if creating new profile
names was allowed. However, with a fixed number of profile names,
you're right, this isn't needed.
