was reported a bunch of times, for example.  Some bug where mmap didn't work
correctly on XFS and corrupted apt's database.

I'm sure XFS must be getting better, and some people have told me that it's
been pretty stable in recent kernels, but since I don't use it myself, my
only experience is when it breaks.
