It doesn't work. Problem with channel 10??? Or maybe this is some bad
state left over from the last crash?

However, that test didn't crash the backend.

In fact, I can continue watching other DVB channels without any
problems. May DVB devices are still there:

launchpad:~# ls -l /dev/dvb/adapter0/
total 0
crw-rw---- 1 root mythtv 250, 4 Jan 1 1970 demux0
crw-rw---- 1 root mythtv 250, 5 Jan 1 1970 dvr0
crw-rw---- 1 root mythtv 250, 3 Jan 1 1970 frontend0
crw-rw---- 1 root mythtv 250, 7 Jan 1 1970 net0

The crash itself seems to be related to downloading large mpeg files,
via eth0 (samba), does that make any sense???? I had two crashes
tonight, and each time while downloading a file. Coincidence???
I guess I should investigate this more.

My Ethernet card is:

00:04.0 Ethernet controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] SiS900 10/100 Ethernet (rev 90)

I don't entirely trust it, but it generally seems to work fine,
even after the MythTV backend has crashed.

Later: Channel 10 is now working again via DVB.
