Does your recorded stream contain PMT and PAT tables? Myth needs those,
but I'm not sure if mplayer does. If you could send me the output of
"mythbackend -v record" on one of those non-working recordings might

The only thing I can think of is that the new PAT/PMT code isn't
finding the stream. Make sure that you have the channel in the format
"12-2" where the second number is the program id. The PAT parser is
different and will deal with program lookup failures differently. But it
should report a failure in the log.

The new code tries to parse the tables completely and then use that
information to build new tables, instead of just rewriting the old

]Hi Daniel,

]The file DOES play using mplayer, so I am not sure why Myth has a problem.
