]Numbers 2 and 3 were the same, and neither apply now due to some other avcodec
]changes (which simplified the function in question considerably already).

I'll have a look at these. They shouldn't have been the same, but I'm
not so surprised about either of them not applying after changes. I had
to be careful just to make sure those patches would not conflict with
each other.
