I've actually been messing around with bob & tv-out on my newly reincarnated 
'production' mythtv box (went from a mini-itx m10000 + a pvr-350, to a mobile 
xp 2200+ and a gf 5200 for tv-out), and have gotten some extremely nice 
looking result with a minor tweak to the display code.
