Hmmm, okay, but it will be a while before it makes it to the top of my
priority list.

If your goal is to get rid of overscan with the GUI, try a resolution of
888x500 using a modeline like this:


  ModeLine "888x500p" 37.26 888 964 996  1104 500 522 528 563 +hsync +vsync


This is actually a 960x540 modeline, adjusted so the viewable image is only
888x500.

Cory Papenfuss wrote up some good articles on how to tweak modelines like
that.  For example:
