[mythtv] dvb recording wierdness

I notice something strange when mythtv started to record a show yesterday.

I have 2 tv cards, one analog bt878 card and a new dvb-c card, the recording
was supposed to be on the analog bt card, but mythtv started to record on
both card at the same time.
The problem is that that channel exists only on the analog card. Mythtv
tried to tune the dvb card but it faid and it started to record on the dvb
card anyway.

Why did it record on both cards? Is this a feature so its easier to compare
the quality of the cards? Or a bug?

Why did it record anyway when tuning failed?

There seems to be a bug in the channel setup editor, it doesnt save the dvb
settings, for example the modulation, so when i add a new channel i have to
edit it afterwards and fix all the settings again.
