I also did some scripts to get the categories working.
I hacked a bit on tv_extractinfo_en but at the beginning of the summer, but
then I had a harddisk crash and lost all of the code.
For some reason the filesystem (ext3) was completely corrupted and fsck
didn't want to have anything to do with it.
Luckily I had resently swaped disks and I still had the old one lying around
so I was able to salvage some data, but nothing from mythtv tho.

I'll have to give this script a try.
I have hacked my mythfilldatabase to not insert categories like "TV Series"
that tv_imdb inserts.
