[mythtv] DirectFB support?

Hello, I'm currently building a PVR system, And im tossing up between VDR/MythTV using DirectFB for a G550/Epia-m chipset.

How is the functionality of directfb support with say QT embedded?
Are there any plans to future the directfb support in MythTV ?
