I (and others before me) have argued something to this effect
before, but no-one seem to like the idea much.
What about a compromise (post a pre-release notice on mythtv.org):
"Next Release .14 coming up soon"
"
The next release of MythTV is about to be released, and the
developers are seeking to fix most minor bugs before it hits
the streets. Are you one of those that know a bit about anything,
and would like to make the next release of MythTV more bug-free
than any of the previous releases; feel free to upgrade to the
MythTV CVS version to find 'em,
Good Bughunting!
"
My 2$, ciao,
Kenneth
