It is part of the MPEG headers rather than the DVB data. The AFD tag is 
similar to the one containing the normal MPEG 16:9/4:3 aspect 
indication. I found the header parsing code for the aspect ratio in the 
existing vdr-dxr3 driver and it was fairly easy to add another case to 
decode the AFD header as well.
