I didn't get, what you meant, but it seems (only a little testing keeps me 
from removing that 'seems' ;-)  ) that you're perfectly right with your 
catch!

This is because earlier the next recording was the first one, but then that 
changed and Isaac decided to keep the old stuff and just move an iterater 
(the startIter).

So If that fixes the problem, I'll submit a patch pretty soon to fix that.
