Which is why I said the end-late case sounded more likely to me.
You're original message said the scheduler reported the new program as
a conflict loser.  Are you sure you didn't have another program
scheduled for a little later that could have caused this?

I don't think you understand.  The scheduler doesn't give *any*
priority to post-rolls.  When checking for conflicts, pre- and
post-rolls don't exist as far as the scheduler is concerned.
