[mythtv] Mythfrontend dies (backtrace attached)

There aren't any obvious problems in dmesg. I've got one error:-

request_module: failed /sbin/modprobe -- char-major-226-0. error = 256

I don't have a char-major-226-0 alias in my modules.conf, so I don't know
what this is.
