What's wrong with using myth:// url's and the config options already present
in mythweb cvs ?
Only one # needs to be removed from config/conf.php to make it work and
posibly editing the video_url string.
It's much easier and doesn't rely on having a samba share.

After that's done you can just click on the recording on the recorded
programs page and your mediaplayer will open.
Given that it knows how to open url's properly.
