[mythtv] How to make sure v4l2 is being used (compile flag?)

I tried hardcoding it back to v4l2 but no avail - it still plunges into an 
infinity loop of errors :(

I've heard stories about ppl who had a working setup with this card but none 
of them actually know how they fixed it (tbh, most of them I don't even 
trust to know for sure they actually have a cx88 card).

Is there a way to get more info on this error? I tried setting verbose to 
lvl all but that didn't help...
