I could say that if I tell Myth to only keep 5 episodes, then I mean only
keep 5 episodes whether I told it that I wanted to "preserve" 2 episodes
permanently or not. :)

Since more people seem to be leaning your direction, I'll bite.  It's
fine with me if Max Episodes is changed to mean "Max Episodes that aren't
UnDeletable".  It would be nice if the corresponding description on the
scheduled recording options screen could be changed to reflect that though,
since others will see it from the side of Max really meaning Max. :)  I
can't think of an easy way to word the setting text though.
