[mythtv] New feature idea - MythCalendar

Hi,

I certainly don't want to sound as pushing my ideas, but still would like to
add my two cents :

I didn't think of using Egroupware through Mythbrowser. That what is
interesting is that Egroupware can trigger batch scripts as reminders (so
could also Mythnotify frontends). Egroupware has also xmlrpc interface,
where you could get many info from calendar in quite convenient way. The
nice feature coming right now is possibility of live synhronization between
Egroupware and Outlook. You could always get info directly from mysql
itself...

So to make story short - egroupware as backend, from another computer you
can do it through web interface or Outlook directly, with mythtv you get
mythnotify on screen and get/modify info through xmlrpc...

I think that calendar is usefull if you can use it also from remote
locations (your workplace, travel etc....)...

Maybe afterall not so good, but currently best way I know of, but I could
easily be wrong...

Regards,

Robert.
