Thanks for your reply.
I'm running Debian Woody Stable on the iMac, although I've upgraded certain
bits to 'Unstable' to accommodate certain Myth dependencies. I've also installed
Qt 3.3 and LAME from source.
The machine itself is currently very low spec - G3 333MHz, 64MB RAM (!),
Mach64 6MB graphics - but if I can get the code to compile, and run after
a fashion, I'll add more memory (it's only going to be used as a frontend)
Anyway, I've had a go with the patch + latest CVS, but having problems with
compilation - specifically, the compiler (gcc 3.3) is crashing, with a note
of an internal error (+message from assembler - "End of file not at end
of line; new line inserted"). I think it's a problem with the machine, so
I'll investigate further and hopefully come back to you
