Apologies if this is more appropriate to the -users list, but I'm not
sure if Nigel reads that one...
Well, as of last night's CVS, I finally got everything necessary for
mythfrontend to compile on my iBook. I think the problem may have been
a screwed-up environment due to the existence of 2 copies of Qt (Qt/X11
via Fink, and Qt/Mac). Anyway, I can now run mythfrontend on my 900MHz
G3 iBook. Thanks, Nigel & anyone else working on the Mac OS X patches!
However, I have a question: does anyone know offhand how I can see
terminal output from mythfrontend? If I launch it from a terminal
using "open /usr/local/bin/mythfrontend.app", it seems to launch
everything in the background, and I don't get to see the error
messages.
I'm sure it's something simple (like 'man open'?), but I don't have
access to a Mac ATM to check.
TIA,
JAC
