[mythtv] DVD Menus in ripped DVDs

Hey All -

OK I just took the plunge and bought a small house which necessitates my
video equipment being put in a closet. I also have nowhere to put my
200+ DVDs. Solution appears to me to be ripping them all to Myth and
putting a RAID box in the closet with the rest of the equipment. I
would prefer to be able to rip to DivX to save room but I do not want to
give up the menus etc. Is there support for saving the menus when you do
a rip and reencode? If not this is something I think I would like to try
to work on.

Also - what about multi-disc sets. Can I "tie" dvds together so they
play seamlessly (ie LotR)
