Well, you could use irexec for this if you were using lirc...
Keep in mind that there are plenty of us out here using FireFly, X10, or
some other PS/2 or USB remote that does not involve lirc. Also, I think
it would be kinda' nice to configure the functions from within the GUI.
(My next patch.)
