All,

I did a CVS checkout this morning and since then I can only enter (and exit)
a few times Television or Watch Recordings or... after doing that a couple
of times when I exit watching television, mythbackend -v network logs the
following:

2005-04-13 14:11:06.414 Changing from WatchingLiveTV to None
2005-04-13 14:11:06.414 48 BACKEND_MESSAGE[]:[]DONE_RECORDING 1 7[]:[]empty
2005-04-13 14:11:06.499 2 ok

and mythfrontend after a delay logs:

2005-04-13 14:11:26.408 ReadStringList timeout (quick).
2005-04-13 14:11:46.444 ReadStringList timeout (quick).
2005-04-13 14:11:46.445 Remote file timeout.
2005-04-13 14:11:46.446 Changing from WatchingLiveTV to None
2005-04-13 14:11:46.449 Changing from None to None

After this has happened and trying to watch Television again, after some time
mythfrontend comes with the message that it can't connect to the backend and
logs the following:

2005-04-13 14:13:03.087 ReadStringList timeout (quick).
2005-04-13 14:13:03.088 Connection to backend server lost

mythbackend -v network logs no connection (nothing) in that period.

Restarting mythfrontend only doesn't fix this situation, it's still impossible
to watch Television (or anything else):

2005-04-13 14:14:35.164 Connecting to backend server: 127.0.0.1:6543 (try 1 of 5)
2005-04-13 14:14:55.167 ReadStringList timeout (quick).
2005-04-13 14:14:55.168 Unexpected response to MYTH_PROTO_VERSION:
2005-04-13 14:14:55.170 Changing from None to None

No logging from mythbackend -v network during this period.

This might well be related to other threads currently active on this list.
Please let me know if there is anything I could test/debug.
