Hi Daniel,

This looks good for Xv.  No problems so far in my testing.

Things are not so good for XvMC for me.

The biggest problem I'm having is that it seems the video card (nVidia
MX-440, driver 7174) is not reset properly sometimes, because I'll go to
play a recording (any recording) and get just the blue screen with a
burst of sound every second or so.  Log file (--verbose playback) for a
playback when that's happeining is attached (novideo.log).  When it's in
that state, Xv shows just a blue screen as well, so it's probably
related to whatever driver bug triggers that problem.  But I can't even
run through my entire list of test clips  w/o triggering this using
XvMC, so something's up there.

Most of my HD recordings are choppy (prebuffering pause every second or
so).  I wonder if this is related to my monitor running at 60.0 Hz
rather than 59.94 (even though straight Xv is working fine)?  Anyway,
one of them spits out a bunch of messages like "AddInheritence past
E    NOT in used or in done. ALAAAdLd".  Log file (--verbose playback)
for that recording is attached (abc-in-hd.log).  You can find that
recording at http://jekyl.no-ip.org/abc-in-hd.mpg .  This is 115MB, and
I'm on a cable modem, so I'd appreciate folks not pulling it unnecessarily.
