I should have read your message a bit more closely :-)
The frontend message "Error was encountered while displaying video" is not
only restricted to encrypted channels that i don't have any subscription
for.
It also shows up when i change to a channel that should have worked, it's an
encrypted channel that i do have a subscription for.

Anyway, i've attached logs from both frontend and backend, just incase you
need it.

When the frontend logged this:
2005-08-27 12:48:42.892 Waited 4 seconds for data to become available,
waiting again...
The error message showed up.

And as before, the log first contains a successfull tune to my analog card
since that one is first.
