The looping scan was reported by John Pullan, it was on my "Fix Later"
list on Saturday, right after your 1st problem. I don't think they
are related since John Pullan hasn't reported that he has your 1st
problem.

I'll look at the looping scan problem tomorrow, I'm pretty sure that
is something simple.

Your 1st problem still puzzles me, it looks like you aren't getting any
data from your DVB card. What hardware are you using?
