But I'm guessing your metaio stuff wont deal with Compilation Artist 
right? (seeing as that is what is in my patch!) So I guess I'll have to 
take a look.

Actually, you can maybe tell me how AAC Metadata is stored. Is it 
specific frames like ID3 or freefrom like Vorbis Comment?

I need to look at how iTunes stores the compilation flag in AAC files 
(if at all) as I guess it is the definitive source for this.



FWIW, I've totally ignored WMA files ;) We don't write them anyways and 
I don't know how you would store compilation artist stuff in them 
anyways....
