[mythtv] Firewire: How to test input?

I know it's not strictly mythtv related, but I know some people here have
gotten this working recently, so figured I'd try here first.

I just got a 3250HD box from Time Warner with Firewire to try to hook it
up to Myth, and am having trouble getting a test capture with test-mpeg2;
just want to make sure I have my syntax right.

Running "plugreport" shows the following:

Host Adapter 0
==============

Node 0 GUID 0x000f21be498a0000
------------------------------
oMPR n_plugs=1, data_rate=2, bcast_channel=63
oPCR[0] online=1, bcast_connection=0, n_p2p_connections=2
         channel=0, data_rate=2, overhead_id=0, payload=146
iMPR n_plugs=0, data_rate=2

Node 1 GUID 0x364fc0000ea09841
------------------------------

If I unplug the cable box, Node 1 becomes Node 0 (ie, node 0 no longer has
any data), so I'm pretty sure Node 0 is the cable box. :)

I'm running test-mpeg2 like:

test-mpeg2 -r 0

and get the following output:

libiec61883 warning: Overlayed connection on channel 0.
You may need to manually set the channel on the receiving node.
Starting to receive

At that point, it doesn't do anything until I ctrl-c it, at which point it
says "Done." What type of output am I supposed to get? Am I running it
right?

Links to additional docs would also be appreciated, of course!
