I am not sure how many people I am speaking for... I know at least myself... but until there is a way to do analog recording from the pchdtv with either a seperate driver or with the DVB drivers I am not too hot on development moving over to them.

Especially with the glimmer of hope that Daniel gave us that the analog and digital could coexist correctly in the near future. I would love to be all digital... but in most places that are not a near a city we have to stick it out with 3 or 4 digitals, 2 or 3 analogs and even 1 or 2 LPs to get the gambit of the networks.

Once Daniel gets those working together the framework then exists that I could write fallback code so if you couldn't lock the HD signal it would drop back and at least record the analog equivelent. I know that even in areas with large amounts of HD this would help out during those torrential rainstorms (or someone forgetting to turn the rotor :} )

Just my 2 cents...
