[mythtv] pcHDTV-3000, DVB drivers, QAM -- working!

OK,
With the latest kernel sources 2.6.11-rc4 and the CVS video4linux drivers, I
now have my pcHDTV-3000 card working with HDTV over QAM (from cable).
At first, I was trying to check with utilities outside of mythTV to make sure
it was working before I tried to integrate it. After trying pointlessly at
this for an hour or so, I just re-compiled myth with DVB support, did a scan,
and Voila! Great work to everyone involved!
Now, to the nitty gritty. How do I get this to integrate with datadirect and
zap2it? I'm real new to HDTV with Myth and I can't find anything to document
QAM interactions with datadirect either. To frame these questions
appropriately, also note that initially I would like to be able to record
both the HDTV and analog versions of the show simultaneously (the analog on
one of the other two PVR-250s I have).
A few questions:
1) What is the best way to setup this in data direct? A separate listing with
just these high-def channels selected? Do I use the cable ones or the
local-broadcast ones? Which ones do I select within the listing -- the ones
with the "digital" callsign (ending in DT) or regular -- [the QAM detection
picks up the standard callsign without the DT]
2) Since the QAM channel numbers do not match anything available on data
direct, how can I go about doing this matching in myth? I've never had to
really do anything extensive in the channel editor before, and I'm not sure
what you can touch without breaking things related to DVB here. Should I be
using mythweb for this instead?
