Nope, fresh install.

Thanks lots. I wish the info was documented !!!
Don't know what you have got in Sydney, in Perth I find nothing.
So man weeks of spelunking later:
In channel setup -> advanced set a transport for every station of
interest. IE Aus: 7, 9, 10, ABC, SBS
Chose scan (for my DVICO card) set BW=7MHz (will not auto-detect, will
not work if you dont) and any freq from your station freq list.
Scan now finds all channels available. Edit to select what you want.

Feedback for developers
-----------------------
3 people, Celeron 2.4, p4-3 p4-3.2 lots RAM, SATA and PATA discs,
DVICO (lite, plus & std) DVB-T
mythtv-0.16 SDTV works better than mythtv-0.17 (pixel glitches, slight
jerkyness, occasional audio glitches)
mythtv-0.17 HDTV works better than mythtv-0.16, but is still unwatchable
blocky and jerky.
SCAN works if you can find out how. See above for no channel-info-feeds.
[mythtv-0.16] mythfrontend causes SATA CRC errors (2.6.9, WD Raptor).
This box is completely happy as a backend. Frontend causes disk lockups.
Running frontend over lan is completely ok.
I realize that you want to know how the latest CVS is doing. This is
production machine, both attempts at CVS were at a bad time and failed.
The production quality-decline 0.16 to 0.17 (less watchable) means less
enthusiasm to try CVS.
One of the 3 is disalusioned with myth enough to use the DVICO windows
drivers which give 'good quality' (watchable) HDTV. (celeron machine)
The log no longer gives the:
Audiostream: Layer: 1 Bit rate: free Freq: 48.0 kHz
Videostream: ASPECT: 16:9 Size = 704x576 FRate: 25 fps BRate: 12.00 Mbit/s
This was useful! I'll hunt and enable/put-it-back in 0.17
