Issac,

I did try both Channel name and Channel number method in Sorting
Option. Both gives me same result. I have 5_1, 7_1, 7_2, 9_1, 9_2,
9_3, 9_4, 9_5, 11_1, 11_2, etc in my lineup.

Lets say 11_1 was tuned to watch live TV (hardcoded to 11_1 from the
mythtv-backend default file).

Then I enter 5_1 from the keyboard.

The next arrow up will always do the following (no matter which Sort
option I use)

2005-06-02 08:58:55.423 DVB#0 Successfully tuned to channel 11_1.
2005-06-02 08:59:22.695 DVB#0 Successfully tuned to channel 5_1.
2005-06-02 08:59:33.191 DVB#0 Successfully tuned to channel 7_1.
2005-06-02 08:59:37.630 DVB#0 Successfully tuned to channel 9_1.
2005-06-02 08:59:42.976 DVB#0 Successfully tuned to channel 11_2.

I'm missing 7_2, 9_2 to 9_5 and 11_1.

If I edit my channum by removing _ and make them integers, then
everything is fine. I dont know if you have access to the HD3000 card
or not, but people who are using 0.18 with DVB drivers are all facing
starting channel as well as live TV channel up/down problems. Just
search/ask on the myth-users and on the pchdtv.com forum.

I dont think I'm alone, but atleast I'm trying to figure out the
solution. If you want I can send you my backend logs and my sql logs
offline.

Hope this helps.

Thanks
Mudit
