[mythtv] Building generic packages: XvMCW *and* VLD?

Hi,

the XvMCW support in myth is a great way to get to
one-package-does-it-all.

I'm not sure if VLD support should be turned on additionally, or
not. Are XvMCW and VLD support mutually exclusive, or do they coexist
nicely (even on non-unichrome systems)?
