[mythtv] MythPhone and Asterisk

I have Asterisk and MythTV on a single CPU PIII 866MHz box, without any
problems.

 

The method for getting CID on the OSD referenced in your link seems a little
complicated. I just have an AGI script that uses MythNotify. You'll find it

Two questions both pertaining to MythTV and Asterisk.

 

            I'm considering turning my Dual Proc. Asterisk server into my
Asterisk and MythTV Backend. Any major issues I should watch for?

 

            Second. For now I'd like to get CID on the OSD through the
network. I found some rough instructions for this at

 However I am unsure how to build the mythtvosd and the mythudprelay apps.
Can someone give me some quick pointers?
