Ah, so the support is there in the code, there's just no way to 
customized the speeds without editing the database by hand -- do I have 
that right?

Then perhaps we actually need 2 new UIs:

1) A setup UI to define the allowable speeds (perhaps w/spinboxes?)

2) An OSD menu to select which "slots" are enabled

...though perhaps that's overkill.  I can definitely understand the 
argument which would say that only (1) is needed.

Thoughts?
