[mythtv] New LiveTV and PiP Status?

I've been running the new live tv for a while and I must say good work so
far however I am having a few issues and maybe they aren't all built in yet.

 Issue #1:
 When attemping to simply switch inputs (single pvr-350, and single pvr-500)
the action never happens. I can see the backend attempt it but it never
happens. I had debugging on but can't find the entries yet. I can provide
moe of this if need be.
 Issue #2:
 PiP doesn't work yet with the new live tv and I simple assume its because
its not done yet?
