Yes, it's a 16:9 capabel tv, when using myth the tv is always in 16:9 mode
and the output resolution from my epia box is 720x576 (one of those noscale
modes)

Don't think so, what's that? X using more than one screen?

No.
I'm using a little gui overscan/adjustment, but only for the gui and not for
livetv and watching recordings.

Didn't see any aspect setting in the frontend, but that's probably because i
don't use those two features?

I'll see if i can borrow a friends camera and take a few pictures.

Haven't changed the osd type, so it's probably the blended then.
