[mythtv] Changes needed for Compilation on Cygwin

Thanks for giving the patch a go anaerin, I'm sorry I didn't see your
reply to my ticket. If I register with trac will it alert me when
changes are made?

My time is limited right now due to finishing up a master's project,
but I am still interested in getting this going properly. Keep me
updated with any problems you have and I will try to work through
those, at least.
