[mythtv] Ripped DVD's in the Internal player

you seem like you really want to solve this. I  used mythdvd to rip a dvd
for the first time this weekend, and it worked very well. So here are some
tips on how you can solve it on your own.

I think it's best if you try and figure out what's wrong on your own. first
upgrade the latest svn. rip the dvd again and see what happens.

if it still happens, here is some pointers at what you can look at.
The total length of a recording is set in DecoderBase::PosMapFromDb in the
decoderbase.cpp file. Run some extra verbose statements in there and see why
the total length is not been set.  Work backwards from there. I'd suggest
that you run doxygen on the mythtv source so it's easier to browse through.
