[mythtv] /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lXext

Not sure why you're getting that on fedora, but on suse linux 10.0 I had the 
same problem. 

Adding LIBS *= -L/usr/X11R6/lib to the settings.pro file seemed to sort it 
out.
