FWIW, I'm not using this patch, I am using EPIA with viaXvMC output and
ChromaKey and I have no problems (other than a slighly uglier OSD than
not using normal output and no ChromaKey).
Using viaXvMC and output without ChromaKey gives me the fade away issue
(and b/w OSD).
