It was tried last April, sqlite couldn't handle the scheduler
query. I don't remember if it was brought to the devs of sqlite
as an optimization challenge, but I remember doing that was
suggested by a couple folks.

It's PostgreSQL which has gotten the bad response, it is seen
as not adding enough value for the amount of work that would
be required to make MythTV compatible with it.
