[mythtv] Mythbackend crashes

Hi,

mythbackend crashes with the following errors:

HandleRemoteEncoder(cmd GET_STATE) unknown encoder:4 exiting.

I have looked on the list and saw some talk of patches and the 
such....  But no actual solution.  Is there one?
