I have not seen a reply to our question so just wondering if this is an
intended behavior and should we ask for a new feature request or is this
a bug and should we create a new ticket.

thanx

I have the same setup here and given how often I have trouble viewing
livetv, it practically makes it impassible to reliably watch channels on
different sats. I thought I've seen a ticket for a similar issue where a
last viewed channel was not remembered. I thought once that is resolved
it will also remember the last input, however that does not seem to be
the case. Not sure if this is intended or not, but for those of us with
a rotor, we really need to remember the last input and not default to
the same one always.

A quick question for the developers concerning saving the last viewed
channel. I don't know if the feature is included or not in the current
svn versions (yes, too lazy to look at the code) but I was wondering if
along with the channum the cardinput.name was also saved.

My setup uses a rotor and I've specified my "detault input" as sat A. If
I view live TV and move the disk to sat D (say 30 degrees away from sat
A) and exit, the input for sat D doesn't get saved as the default. This
presents a problem when for some reason the backend dumps or you are
forced to exit livetv because of a bad channel the next time you enter
it goes all the way back to the default sat A.
