[mythtv] mythbackend: /dev/dsp: No such file or directory

Just update from the latest SVN.  Now my backend log is full of:

/dev/dsp: No such file or directory
Error opening audio device (/dev/dsp), the error was: No such file or directory
...
NVP: Disabling Audio, reason is: Error opening audio device (/dev/dsp)
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_alloc'
  what():  St9bad_alloc


I am guessing these are comming from mythcommflag, since I don't run
the frontend on this machine.
