Looking at the code, there is a window, if it takes some time, say 50
- >100ms to create the MythDialogue then the timer could expire again
calling checkForPlaylist again...

Unless QTimer guards against this?

As an aside it seems to me that the minimum requirements for a stable
myth system are moving beyond the capabilities of the humble EPIA
boards.
